To celebrate the opening of our new WORLDWIDE headquarters and new manufacturing facility in the UK we have taken the opportunity to update our image with a new logo, stationery and standard products livery. Coupled with these major changes in marketing strategy many of our standard product lines have undergone upgrades in technical specification and trim levels. The industrial kiln ranges in the main remain unchanged except in the sanitary ware sector where we have embarked on the development of a new standard range of updraft gas fired intermittent shuttle kilns in line with today’s current production demands. The Condor Range of updraft gas fired sanitaryware kilns are currently under final development with the first contract for the smallest capacity (25 cubic metres) being awarded and the completed unit despatched in November 2009 to a new Greenfield development overseas. The Condor Range will ultimately comprise of 4 standard capacities i.e. 25, 50, 75 and 100 cubic metres of modular design shuttle intermittent kilns to a very high specification. We also envisage the standard units being versatile to allow other capacities being designed to suit client’s requirements should the standard units not suit their specific needs. December 2009 saw the final touches, being made to our updating of our standard ranges, including the completion of our revolutionary new Harrier Super Range of top loading kilns. 5 new models are available having the same firing chamber size, capacities and power requirements on their illustrious predecessors. All new Super Range Harrier kilns incorporate the following standard features. The Falcon range of kilns has been extended to include: This new short range of 5 larger capacity kilns based on our well established Falcon ranges is introduced for 2009. These 5 kilns commencing at 420 litres (16 cu.ft) through to 1.25 cubic metres (45.5 cu.ft.) provide enhanced technical features to keep abreast with modern requirements for larger capacity kilns. To complete our product revisions all Falcon kilns will be fitted with new style door clamps, new colour scheme and from the FL.280 to FL 500 standard kiln will benefit from a manual lever operated top ventilation / cooling damper mechanism. Our service engineers team has been increased to cope with the current demands of repair and service levels making K & F the largest service provider with factory trained engineers in the UK. We can provide long term service contracts based on kiln useage or an ad hoc call out service along with comprehensive spares availability and retrofitting of safety equipment to kilns already in use.NEWS 2010
