This Heat Protection System was developed by our R&D Department to protect kiln users from excessive heat when opening the kiln door, and comes highly recommended.

Prevents kiln door from being opened when temperature inside is in excess of 70°C

Automatically operated by an independent, preset, tamper proof temperature controller via it own dedicated thermocouple

The system is kiln mounted

It has indicating lights showing system set and lock de-activation

Additionally the heat lock will help extend the life of kiln lining and element by offering a protection from thermal shock.
